Key Features of the film Winters Bone. The scene that takes place in a school adds to the authentic of the film. This i due t the film being independent meaning it had a low budget making the scene contrasting as they would have most likely used a real set for this scene additionally most likely used real school children / teachers and students also adding to the authenticity. In addition, Ozark's is in the middle of the USA so would be surrounded by quite a lot of dry land, however in the film we repeatedly see a lot of boats.
